| maybe a poll could be started also, in view of the fact that it's a midweek 'do', although quite often i used to take the next day/morning off and make a long weekend of it...... bit difficult now though. | |

I would, but not alone. | |

| I guess you would prefer it in Croydon then. What a nice part of the country that is!
I have walked home many a late night from Peckham to Rotherhithe via New Cross and no bother. I found it easy to park on the main road close to the Amersham last time the Dualers played there. If you are really worried then book a cab to pick you up outside and either take you home or to a nearby station.

| From what I remember of last time, the station was just across the road - took about 60 seconds to walk to it. | |

| no, not really, jeffmack there are many parts of every town which are 'dodgy' and i know there are some in Croydon :p I too have walked home from many places with 'no bother', but, late at night, female (doesn't matter how many there are), in an 'unknown' district, travelling, eventually, separately, can still be 'dangerous' (a friend of mine has been attacked not far from her house). on the occasions i have seen the bois at the Amersham, first time, yes, i managed to park right outside, but on other occasion i have had to park quite a way up the road. Cabs cost money, which may not be a problem to some people, but, to me, it is but, as Tracy says, "May I please remind everyone, though, that we are still awaiting confirmation Smile"

| Indeed we are.
But as I also said to Clive, if it is going ahead, it will most likely be at the Amersham Arms.

But as I also said to Clive, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to read your personal mail :p lol, you know it's my warped sense of humour, and you can delete this post if you want :p
