There was a time, wasn't there, Ollie, when promoters/venues quoted a ticket price INCLUSIVE of all 'extras', and didn't add on an 'admin fee' here and a 'booking fee' there. Now the only way to pay 'face-price' for a ticket is to go to the box-office in person and hand over cash - then I expect they'll charge you a fee for putting the dosh in their till and giving you the right change!

Yay, can't wait till payday now. Only the 2 best bands in 1 night. Got to check out the local area online now to book hotel. FAB oooh only 1 week after my birthday as well. Hooray.....

booked our tickets today HAPPY

wow i got me a great new cd labour of love IV it is just brill it has one of my all time fav songs on it which is Tracks of my tears .So now i put on the dualers then ub40 so on and so on .The cd has some brill brill songs loving creampuff and a love you can feel.The more i play the cds the more im really really looking forward for june

we still have not got our tickets yet is it normal for them to come late starting to get a bit worried now the camp site booked kids are booked out lol just want me tickets

Who did you book them with?

I booked mine through Ticketeast and they came within a week. Tickets booked through Ticketmaster, Seetickets and some others are often not released until 2 weeks before the event.

Also, did you book them on-line. If you did there will be a booking reference and an e-mail address. You could e-mail them and ask if they have been posted out yet.
If you booked by phone you should still be able to contact them quoting your booking reference.

No need to panic just yet.

I have also got Labour of Love IV - Some real good tunes on there

hi richard our friends booked the tickets with ticketmaster so i will stop worrying then,i no when we booked up to see the boys in july the tickets came within two weeks i think it was so i dident understand why the ub40 ones have not come yet but if they send them out two weeks before it will be ok.

thanks for letting me know that information i shall ask them to check as they booked them online

labour of love IV is a really good cd i may have drove dave a bit mad as i think i may have over played it lol.

well one week to go cant wait tickets came last week im keeping on eye on the weather dont care as long as it does not rain wooo hooo

two more days eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee cant wait everything looking good leaving in the morning weather is going to be hot love it bring on sat

What a show. Absolutely amazing and the audience reaction was fantastic.

i agree richard we had the best time ever we were at the front and all the crowd was dancing like mad all enjoying the music .Tyber and si done so so so well they were brilliant loved every moment it was such a great show and i would have loved it if they could have stayed on longer.my throat is a bit sore giving so many whoop whoops tho fantastic .Ub40 were just brilliant as well loved the whole thing really glad they sang songs from the new cd
i wish i could turn back time and do it all again

who could ask for more a lovely hot day and the best music ever

my first time here
just like to what a fantastic job you done last night
i had only seen the Dualers on youtube but heard soo many reviews about them on the UB40 site, when i heard they were support the UB's at romsey last night, i had to go
as much as im a UBfan.....it was the dualers that made me drive from essex to southampton

i was disappointed......i never stopped dancing all through thier set

welcome dean. richard just read the links from ub40 site wow they got fantastic reviews loved the video clip from back stage. richard did you take any videos yourself as i did not got lots of photos tho went on you tube they have a few clips of ub40

I didn't take my camera. Security was very hot, they were searching bags looking for cameras. Also the video I took of Madness at Romsey last year was very poor sound so this time I left my camera at home.

My daughter Megan took quite a few photos though.

What a fantastic day - couldn't have been better.

o thats a shame.it was a fantastic day im still buzzing about the whole thing gutted tho back to work today but have the memorys and they sang treasure which is one of my fav songs i really liked sitting in the park as well.i do have one thing to say dave got mistaken for one of the boys a lady and her daughter wanted dave to have his photo with them i think it was because dave had his ska hat on they also wanted dave to autograph there cd of the cooking pot my friends husband said he should have signed it love from bob they would have took it home and thougth who the hell was bob we thought it was very funny he did tell them he was not part of the band.he said they looked sad after that so i do hope that they managed to find tyber and si in the end.

great great day loved it.i have just fell in love with the twentyfourseven cd from ub40 love dance untill the morning light gonna have to go and watch them again
